  • GENESIS Pharma is established with the objective to market and distribute new, advanced pharmaceutical products resulting primarily from biotech research.
  • Exclusive Agreement signed with Biogen for Avonex® in Greece.
  • Exclusive Agreement signed with Vifor for Venofer® in Greece.

1998

  • Exclusive Agreement signed with Lafon (now merged with Cephalon) for Modiodal® in Greece and Cyprus.

1999

  • GENESIS Pharma (Cyprus) Ltd. is established.
  • Exclusive Agreement signed with PathoGenesis (now merged with Chiron Corp.) for Tobi® in Greece and Cyprus.
  • Contract extended with Biogen for Avonex® in the Balkans and Cyprus.

2000

  • Exclusive Agreement signed with Amgen for Aranesp® in Greece and Cyprus.
  • Chiron awards GENESIS Pharma the "Certificate of Excellence" for the Best Performing European Tobi® team.

2001

  • GENESIS Pharma establishes a representative office in Romania.
  • "Distributor of the Year" Award, by Biogen for Avonex® .

2002

  • Exclusive Agreements signed with Amgen for the distribution of Granulokine® and Neulasta® in Greece and Kineret® in Greece and Cyprus.
  • Exclusive Contract signed with Shire for the distribution of Xagrid® in Greece and Cyprus.
  • "Distributor of the Year" Award, by Biogen for Avonex® .

2003

  • "Corporate Social Responsibility" Award (Annual National Advertising & PR Congress) for an awareness-raising programme for Multiple Sclerosis patients in Greece.
  • "Excellence and Outstanding Sales Performance" Award, by Amgen.
  • Voted 8th Company in the 2003 Best Workplaces® Competition in Greece.
  • "Distributor of the Year" Award, by Biogen Idec for Avonex® .

2004

  • GENESIS Pharma establishes a representative office in Bulgaria.
  • Awarded "Certificate of Recognition" at The Economist Corporate Social Responsibility Forum, for outstanding achievement in corporate social responsibility and sustained business performance.
  • Voted 7th in the 2004 Best Workplaces® Competition in Greece.
  • File submitted for listing in the Athens Stock Exchange.

  • Exclusive Agreement signed with Celgene Corporation.
